Given that the founders had no airports - whatever stupidity trump may utter to the contrary, - no duh.

That said, there is a mechanism. Ignoring it is not the mechanism.

What did Thomas Jefferson say about the Constitution?

Thomas Jefferson warned us not to regard the Capital C Constitution as sacred writ. On July 12, 1816, he wrote, “Some men look at constitutions with sanctimonious reverence and deem them like the ark of the covenant, too sacred to be touched.May 30, 20
He ALSO went on to say, in the SECOND PART YOU SO CONVENIENTLY LEFT OUT, that if you want to AMEND IT, go for it!!

" They ascribe to the men of the preceding age a wisdom more than human, and suppose what they did to be beyond amendment. I knew that age well; I belonged to it, and labored with it. "

So, bonesmoker, you go right ahead and AMEND THAT 2nd Amendment if you THINK you have the VOTES TO DO SO!!

Until then, YOU GOT JACK ****!! And the FACT remains, THE RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED!!

No doors or windows would offer better security.

Constitution doesn't allow it.  You'll have to amend it.

Frankly, I'm sick and tired of the cowardice.  We have a right of self-defense, but Americans apparently don't have the fortitude or character to exercise it.  All the shouting, and all the people screaming to "ban guns" reject anything that might require them to take responsibility for themselves and their own security.

There are more guns than people in this nation.  If we banned guns tomorrow school shootings would continue.  Nobody on your side of it wants to acknowledge that the Nashville shooter changed the school they chose to target because security was too tight at their original choice.  Cowards want daddy government to take care of them, and that is truly disgusting to me.

Red flag laws are already in place.

Yet, crackhead hunter biden can LIE about his drug use on an FF application to purchase a handgun which is a felony, but NOTHING is done to him.  Why?
Evelyn Dieckhaus, 9, was fatally shot Monday while “ desperately trying to pull the fire alarm” at the school a little after 10 a.m., according to DailyMail. Police said that the shooter, Audrey Hale, 28 brought three guns and “significant ammunition” into the school after breaking into a side door.

this exactly what jefferson had in mind when he said the constitution can be amended, that it is not a sacred document,
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The tissue that comes in contact with the bullet moves away from it and then returns to its place - but is left damaged or destroyed - in a process known in medicine as cavitation.A high-velocity bullet not only damages organ tissue that is directly in its path, but also several inches away from its path, which makes it significantly more lethal because it causes catastrophic bleeding. She adds: ‘exit wounds can be the size of an orange.’

---------------------------------------------

on school children.... anyone who supports this is one sick person
