What is the 3 5 clause in the Constitution?

Article one, section two of the Constitution of the United States declared that any person who was not free would be counted as three-fifths of a free individual for the purposes of determining congressional representation. The "Three-Fifths Clause" thus increased the political power of slaveholding states.
That would be awesome. If we went back to that then the Democrat party would cease to exist. 🤣

The year the U.S. Constitution was ratified was also the year the French Revolution broke out and Thomas Jefferson was there to witness it. In this letter to James Madison, Jefferson asks whether or not “one generation of men has a right to bind another,” either in the form of a financial debt or a political obligation to obey a constitution of laws not contracted by that individual. He comes to the surprising conclusion that any constitution (the American included) has to lapse roughly after every generation (actually, based on his calculations, every 19 years) since it was first signed and ratified. Thus, the American Constitution should lapse and become null and void in 1808. Jefferson believed in the principle that “the earth belongs to the living and not to the dead” which meant that previous generations could not bind the current generation to pay their debts, or require them to work in their father’s occupation, or to accept the laws and constitution drawn up by their ancestors. In his mind, “no society can make a perpetual constitution, or even a perpetual law”. The only “umpire” between the generations was the law of nature.”

"Time and changes in the condition and constitution of society may require occasional and corresponding modifications." --Thomas Jefferson to Edward Livingston, 1825. ME 16:113

"Nothing is more likely than that [the] enumeration of powers is defective. This is the ordinary case of all human works. Let us then go on perfecting it by adding by way of amendment to the Constitution those powers which time and trial show are still wanting." --Thomas Jefferson to Wilson Nicholas, 1803. ME 10:419

You want to make every one but the actual shooter to be responsible.  That's ****!!!

Red flag laws are already in place.

Yet, crackhead hunter biden can LIE about his drug use on an FF application to purchase a handgun which is a felony, but NOTHING is done to him.  Why?

our children's safety is our business and parents have the right to expect their children to come home and not get blown to pieces at school because people put their own rights above children's lives.

Oh, so you want to DENY RIGHTS like your boy Adolf started doing in NAZI GERMANY so that he could be the "Fuhrer" and then tell the people what their rights were.

Your "argument" is a BIG STRAWMAN since the RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS is a right enshrined in the Constitution. The PROBLEM isn't the gun, penisbreath, but the PROBLEM is the LEFT WING NUT JOBS you are calling "normal" when they are as mentally NUTZ as the come.
Liberals are spoiled children, miserable, unsatisfied, demanding, ill-disciplined, despotic & useless. Liberalism is a philosophy of sniveling brats ~O'Rourke

The Democratic Party seems intransigent on their position of keeping the party ‘woke,’ detached, exclusionary, and totally insane.
