The Armalite 15 that became the M 16 is not the same weapon as the Colt AR 15.

 If Biden succeeds banning firearms of any kind say hello to President Trump or Ptesident Ron DeSantis. He will lose independants,never trumpers and gun owning Democrats that voted for him last time.
And in the end it will be overturned by the Supreme Court as a violation of the Constitution,which it would be.

If we would start shooting the illegal border crossers as as they reached the middle of the Rio Grande (the border), how many would have to be shot before the others figured out it was not safe to come here?  Not many I bet.  ALL drug runners and cartel members should be shot on sight!!!

That is an example of what is called the Slippery Slope Fallacy.
If a shooter has a gun that fires six shots before reloading, he will almost certainly harm fewer people than some guy with a gun that can hold 20, 30, or 50 bullets. So at least fewer people will die and be wounded.

Reactive thinking, doesn't discover the actual reasons the shooters shot regardless weapons used.

How and why it came to be a person or group just wants to eliminate other groups of people?

Follow the social narratives between all the groups invovled from perpetrators to victims. History does have the answers to how it came to that event.
