Your BACKGROUND CHECK is done YEARLY to retain that CPL you have DORKFACE!! AND since it requires BOTH a State and Federal check of ALL databases, you get to keep it. THAT is the ONLY "exemption" that Michigan has and its BECAUSE of the background checks they have to do ANNUALLY on their permit holders.

Don't have one?? YOU GO THROUGH THE SAME BACKGROUND CHECK ANYONE ELSE GOES THROUGH regardless of type of firearm!!
