The gun that divides a nation (msn.com)It is revered as a modern-day musket. It is reviled as a tool for mass killers. The AR-15 wasn’t supposed to be a bestseller. The rugged, powerful weapon was originally designed as a soldiers’ rifle in the late 1950s. “An outstanding weapon with phenomenal lethality,” an internal Pentagon report raved. It soon became standard issue for U.S. troops in the Vietnam War, where the weapon earned a new name: the M16.

If a shooter has a gun that fires six shots before reloading, he will almost certainly harm fewer people than some guy with a gun that can hold 20, 30, or 50 bullets. So at least fewer people will die and be wounded.
So you just want "fewer" people to die? Why just fewer? The AR15 is used in 1% of ALL RIFLE gun violence. Banning the AR certainly will only see fewer people killed.  :die:

You have shown you don't actually care about gun violence. You just want to get rid of one gun because it is involved in just over half of all recent mass shootings.

It's not safe to shoot at water.

Military firearm  =  Full auto.
Civilian firearm  =  Semi-auto.

There is the division line.
Why do a mountain of deer-hunters refuse
to use the .223 with a 55 grain bullet ?  Too light.
What is a good deer rifle in a 'black-rifle' platform.?
The .300 Blackout with 110gr. bullets at 2350fps (feet per second).
It is very close the Russian AK-47 bullet performance.

That's the **** rule.

Now, WHICH DO YOU THINK MORE DIVISIVE? A **** gun, or grooming people's children and outright lying to them that they can change sexes?
Are you even on the correct thread? I'm talking Columbine; you're talking about Caitlin Jenner. Ban yourself, pervert.

AR-15 <> M16.  Just thought you'd want to know.

Okay, name one military in the world, that arms it's military with the AR-15.
I'll wait.

This isn't an AR-15...

And it's not a "weapon of war" either.

The AR 15 was not made for the military. This is simply a lie. the only gun on your funny list here that was intended for military use was the ak47

No, ***. The nation is completely in one accord on how horrible Columbine was, ya stewpid ****. Your mention of columbine is the FIRST MENTION in the thread, and there is no disagreement that it was a bad thing, dummy. THE THREAD is about how divided we are as a nation, and you're also talking about infringing on rights. Those are the issues YOU raised - try to keep up with yourself.

We are not NEARLY so divided over some **** gun as we are over children being molested, fruity.

My argument is specifically directed to the OP and it is relevant. Your Columbine reference is irrelevant to the thread.

RED FLAG LAWS NOW!!!

red flag laws would be fine if they actually prevented crazy people to purchase guns (trannies, for example).

but leftists would claim that Christianity is a mental illness...they would abuse the law to target people they simply dont like.
