the crisis at the southern border has been an ongoing problem through numerous political administrations, both democrat and republican. It probably does make us less safe, but no less safe than the rampant gun violence that plagues our schools and churches and shopping malls and that has NOTHING to do with illegal immigration.

The funny part is it isn't any one person running it.
It's peopled with ambitious assholes and climbers.
Whatever they were elected for gets lost in their seeking re-election.
They become more of the same flock that's already there.
If they are not actually behind the raft of shootings, they are sure glad it's happening.
Just like the Cloward and Piven philosophy: Use it, abuse it, break it.
What's a couple of deaths when it helps reach that goal?
