I know the pool that they were selected from is 80%+ democrat. Bet we could find a jury in Wyoming or Kansas or Texas or Florida that would indict democrats for inflated crimes. Bragg was the one that instructed the GJ to consider the charges that led to the indictment.
NYC is heavily Democrat, just like DC and most major metropolitan areas, so the jury pool is naturally going to be biased to the left. The GJ in this instance was pooled from an electorate that just elected Bragg to his position, so of course they are biased.
It's no different than when you had jury pools in the segregationist South letting Klan members skate when they committed heinous crimes against the black communities in the 50's and 60's while convicting black people for trumped up charges... only now, you seem to approve of the practice because you are getting what you want.
Either way, it's weaponization of the system and in no way resembles "justice" at all.

are you honestly saying that American citizens serving on grand juries or regular juries are incapable of rendering impartial justice?

YET, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and DOZENS of other Democrats... have been PROVEN, by IRREFUTABLE EVIDENCE, that THEY HAVE colluded with Russia, Ukraine, China, and MANY other nations... and YET, have NEVER been investigated by the VERY Deep State organizations whose JOB it is to do so (i.e. the DOJ, FBI, and others)... Do you believe that the Jan 6th defendants got a fair shake in the Washington DC courtrooms?
I certainly don't. DC is a Democrat controlled stronghold, and the mere fact that the defendants were Trump supporters meant that they were guilty until proven innocent, which is not how it's supposed to be.
Did you see what Pelosi herself said yesterday? That is the mindset in a politicized justice system. Guilty until proven innocent.
Then you have DAs like Bragg and others letting hardcore criminals skate, while prosecuting political enemies above and beyond how they should be. We have become a Banana Republic.
