the person who benefitted was not cohen but trump himself but we are supposed to believe that for some reason cohen did this all on his own. cohen did not benefit one bit from but it helped trump win an election by covering up the scandal right before the election. and nothing benefitted cohen at all.
According to the left this is the only time such a thing matters. I wonder what they thought about all the other times hush money was paid by politicians on both sides?

As usual, there are "experts" here that make comparisons and exceptions with Clinton and so on. When these experts get desperate enough they mince technicalities. Public opinion doesn't hinge on technicalities most of the time.
