True. It was a "safe place" for the Aryan Brotherhood and StormFront crowd.
I remember a gardening forum that had a political subforum. They allowed pretty much anything except bad language and sexual content.
There was a whole lot of White Nationalists that had pretty much taken over that subforum. The small seed company, that owned the forum, didn't take much notice until they started getting bad reviews and threatened boycotts by offended gardeners. They shut that down, and later shut down the whole gardening forum. They certainly didn't want THAT following them around.
