I don't know if it's climate change- it may be bug cycles. But we are infested here in maine. Its really bad.

My girlfriend stopped on the side of the road to look at a dead moose. And when she got near it- Hundreds of ticks were on her. And they can move fast! She stripped her clothes off- left them right there and drove home in her underwear.  
 

more scary than lyme disease is 'tick paralysis'!!!!! there is an outbreak of tick paralysis in california. what happens when this happens. the tick inserts a chemical into you. slowly you become paralyzed. paralyzed, you cannot scream for help. the tick wants you to stay alive so its babies have blood to suck. as more ticks suck your blood, you slowly die. the new born wait for some one to remove the body. the reason there is such a large outbreak in california, is because the queers try to suck the last drop. this spreads ticks. most doctors think you are having a heart attach. as you lay in the hospital and the tick keeps sucking. this is why you must not take a trip to california.

Turkeys eat ticks. Probably the best tick predator in America.
Lots of birds eat the hell out of ticks.

So Lyme disease went up 10x, huh? Cases must be in the dozens now.

eww- We're infested Deezer.
Today I had one on my dogs nose! He sees me coming.. Then he growls.. and the Schnauzer comes in to kick his arss.
Big skuttlebut here at the house.  And he's a nasty eff-er- He bites.... Kind of early. If the ticks are on him- and he cant see- i get em with tweezers... I spent the after noon on you tube tick videos. Where are the girls?( the turkeys) slacking off on the job?

Get some chickens.

Tweezers are terrible for tick removal. Get a tick tool.

The ranchers would be fighting hard to keep them off their cattle.
I was checking my dog, Ringo, every other day.
Every Sunday afternoon I would give her a soapy bath, let her
dry out, dust her w/ tick powder, & give her an anti-tick pill.

Permethrin for dogs works for my guys.
Just a little up on their shoulders/back of neck and they spread it themselves.
Rare that they get ticks. It still is something to keep an eye on though.

Could be all the turkeys hanging around too.

I know... The vet has very expensive medicines.. Last time it cost me 80 bucks.. but its a bad chemical too.
But this dog- I have is nasty- He's a 20 lb ****-zu -Schanuazer mix. Very smart- maybe the smartest dog I ever had except for a german shepard- Louisiana  cat hound mix...
He bit me- and i had 17 stitches on my lip.... We were petrified- and so was I- That sewing my lip back on would make me look weird... But the guy in the ER -did a beautiful job! and there's only a  teeny- tiny thread like scar... a tick on his face Danger- danger for me...

I have those.. but you gotta understand- a nasty  liitle dog with an attitude to bite... He stands up on his hind legs- teeth out- like a  tiny grizzly bear. If its on his face- he sees it coming... Ain't he a cutie- look out lolol -vicious... reminds me of one of those Chihuahuas

The vet  says... if there's a muzzle on his nose- we cant get it... He is the nasty arsshole.     That's my problem!

I do not keep dogs that bite me unprovoked.
I got bit once by one of mine and punched him in the face immediately.
Not a love tap.
Shocked the hell out of him and we never had another problem for all the years I had him.

I do NOT hit my dogs. Ever.
There's always an exception though.

Just so you know, you can rub Vaseline on the backside of the tick and in a few minutes he will let go. They breath out their butts when they embed or latch on and that forces them to let go or die. That way you don't have a biting dog to deal with.

ha ha ha.. I never hit him- as much as i wanted too.        I have had 3 of these.. The other vet was petrified. Very happy breed. but on the other hand very nasty too!
I prefer the Schnauzer breed... Very sweet!  and fearless!
I've had sweet labs - but they EAT everything. My Lab Cracklin Rosie ate an entire mans work boot.. we took her to the vet when she collapsed... We were clued in- when the metal eyelets of the boot showed up in the x-ray.. entire boot gone! yum   yum...

Are you sure it works???? Because I also heard rubbing alcohol... I need something for the face... ticks go in convenient places to hide... behind the ears- on the face..
I seriously had to help a few  men get a tick off their dik? ticks luv to hide in bad places! Calm down dear- i've seen it all before... but men are more spleeny then women i think .      
 

For Lyme to be up 1,000 % means before (whatever) date.....a 1,0000 people are being bite and contracting it to everyone person prior to that.

Anyone wanna bet....these people mentioned are a megaultraliberals ?
