She called the same China distributor and her quote with shipping was 6640$US

Inflation exists, in fact it is SUPPOSED to exist at a rate around 2%, because without it, what happens are recessions, depressions, panics and crises. The dollar is worth less than we want it to be worth. But the same is true of the Euro, the Yuan, the Rupee,the Ruble, the Real, and take your pick of Pesos.
However, this country, with 5% of the world;s population cannot be expected to dominate the global economic situation.
