I knew one very intelligent individual who chose not to go to college. He chose to become an auto mechanic - made a heck of a lot of money at it working at a Chrysler dealership. I spent some time with him. His intellectual abilities were well beyond basic college-level chemistry and he had at least a good understanding of calculus. He easily had the intellectual capacity to do well in college and beyond. He enjoyed building race cars and he was also a professional trumpet player.LincolnNebraska » 18 Apr 2023, 3:06 pm » wrote: ↑ I'm fairly sure he be a high school graduate only. Not that you have to go to college to be smart, but I generally see a difference in how the brain works.
I would like to post a reply if it's OK with you.RedheadedStranger » 18 Apr 2023, 3:16 pm » wrote: ↑ I could care less how much you post... I'm just trying to help you with your psychosis.
You do seem a little calmer today, so it must be working.
That makes me think of how trade professions are looked down upon by marxist elitists. But then, when their toilet or lights go out.....Skans » 18 Apr 2023, 3:17 pm » wrote: ↑ I knew one very intelligent individual who chose not to go to college. I asked him why he never went to college. He said he ran the numbers and he came out better working on cars from the time he was 18 rather than deferring his money making for 4 years and then starting out making only 25% of what he was making as a mechanic. Also, it gave him the ability to work on his two other passions. For what its worth, I recall him saying that he could do any automotive job at less than 50% of book time. Meaning he was highly efficient and fast at what he did, enabling him to make substantially more money than others. That guy really made me think.
When will your Passtagian account be more prolific again?Trumprules » 18 Apr 2023, 3:18 pm » wrote: ↑ I would like to post a reply if it's OK with you.
Is it ok for me to reply to your posts or you going to get triggered again?

It's the compulsive lying that gives him away.

Not all are as smart as the guy I described. But, they don't need to be. I was quite impressed how my friend carved out a path different from everyone else that worked better than what others were able to accomplish by going to college. His wife was at least as smart as he was. He wouldn't talk much about what she did, but he did say that she could eliminate any trace of an individual on the internet. He said she was a bit obsessive about constantly cleaning information that would find its way onto the internet about either one of them - mostly public record type information. She would just hack in and erase it. I found that rather impressive at the time.LincolnNebraska » 18 Apr 2023, 3:19 pm » wrote: ↑ That makes me think of how trade professions are looked down upon by marxist elitists. I'm sure they did. Too much truth and freedom for them.RedheadedStranger » 18 Apr 2023, 3:49 pm » wrote: ↑ Actually, they removed ALL of your posts yesterday.
Too much wasted server space is more like it. The monthly hosting fees are based on how much space this site requires on the host server... so your marathon posting sessions are costing the site owner money.Trumprules » 18 Apr 2023, 4:25 pm » wrote: ↑ I'm sure they did.
