The best dog I have ever owned was in Eagle Pass.
A female Golden Retriever, named "Ringo".
My wife said she always wanted a dog named Ringo.
I said, "that is for a boy-dog, not a girl-dog".
She was stubborn so we played a poker-tournament. 
She got lucky & won.       I kept my word.
I consider the Golden to be the smartest,
& the friendliest family dog on Earth.
