Clearly, everyone ought to consider what the correct action should be if he were a buzzard, a dung beetle, a zebra or a penguin... or even a pangolin or a platypus.

Look at you projecting away into fantasy land of what if rather than discuss what does. Homo sapiens aren't a buzzard, dung beetle, zebra, penguin. All you know how to do socially is avoid how evolving happens to your ancestral position being alive now specifically here one time being part of an ever changing population present.
