Young adults that are shooting up schools are products of progressive indoctrination in the education system, so anything that reduces said indoctrination is a plus.

Promoting mental illness will only lead to more chaos.

School shootings have gotten progressively worse since Columbine, as well as the progressive indoctrination in the educational system.

The majority of school shooters are young adults, born of that increasingly progressive educational system.

You, like most leftists, are concentrating on the gun as the problem, and not the person using it... let alone trying to understand why they are doing what they are doing.
