Chinese factories are very nimble and good at manufacturing inexpensive, functional products, like the computer and monitor you are reading this on and the keyboard you will replay to this on.  An importer can ask a Chinese factory to produce a product of any quality or price, and they will do so. he Chinese government is a threat to individual freedom, but that is an issue unrelated to the quality of Chinese-made products.

Biden is not a Chinese product, moron. He has done a far better job than Trump (the WORST PRESIDENT EVER). I see no evidence that he is not sincere about improving our country.  Depriving women of their personal freedom and harassing gay and trans people and supporting he sale of even more assault weapons is all the GOP has for its platform. The GOP senators and representatives are still supporting Trump, fully aware that he is a shameless and incompetent egomaniac, and Desantis is even worse, because he is less likely to croak in office, Trump is morbidly obese. Biden is quite fit.

Having said all of that, I like Harbor Freight.  I buy a decent amount of stuff from there.

Having said all of that, I like Harbor Freight.  I buy a decent amount of stuff from there.

I get certain things......nothing that has an electric cord on it, though.

If an importer tells a Chinese factory that they want a flag to retail for $2.00, they will make one tho wholesale for about 40¢.
If they are told to make one that will last for ten years, they will do that as well.

I recently was making a wooden structure out some recycled fence boards I found. I needed a sander.
The ancient Black & Decker sander I bought 30 years ago did not work, so I got a cheap hand sander at Harbor Freight for $14.95. It did a fine job. Of course, it was made in China, but then again, so were the ones sold bu Home Depot, the cheapest was over $50.
If I were a professional, I am pretty sure I could get a Milwaukee or Ridgid sander in a pawnshop for under $50 that would outlast any professional carpenter, or I would find one in a garage sale-- some widow who just sold her home for a million dollars and would sell it to me for ten bucks.

Their prices have gone up.  Hard to find good deals there anymore.  But, I have bought some really cheap electric tools there:

Sawsall - $17 - I abuse the **** out of it and it won't die.
Sliding Miter Saw - $85 - I abuse the **** out of that too, works just fine.
Stationary belt/disc Sander - $45 - works great
Scroll Saw - works
Grinder - abuse it and it keeps working
Polisher - $12 - works great.

Can't find any really good deals there anymore.  So, I've moved on to Aliexpress for Chinese made cheap stuff.

I go to garage sales for all my kitchen gadgets, and I have over 15 can openers. The one you show is fine, but it leaves jagged edges on the can tops. this Zyliss is the absolute BEST can opener ever.  As I recall, I paid $2.00 for it.

Trans people are a myth, they are just mentally ill. Treat the mental illness, the problem will go away.
