              What this post neglects to mention are some other factors which heavily impact  American life expectancy statistics... Diabetes & Obesity related premature death, smoking, alcoholism, Drug overdose death rates (which are about the highest in the world), lack of exercise, etc ----- if these behavioral habits & lifestyle choices which affect our mortality rates were on par with those living in the countries we are compared to, our own people's average life expectancy would increase to similar numbers.. So in other words, personal irresponsibility is a leading cause... 

                As for your assertion it only being an allergic reaction by the GOP to BUD-Light, you are greatly mistaken... Not everyone who drank that Beer was a republican .. Many were just average folks who were probably more interested in enjoying a cold brew, and not having a Transvestite being part of the drinking experience...
