Yeah, go figure, I was a gun nut who had a motorcycle buying he house of a motorcycle nut who shot/killed his wife and then killed himself. And, that's just for starters - the rest of the story would be even more entertaining, but too many details I don't want to get into here.
Seeing as how it's stayed with you for so many years, and how vivid the memories are, I would say that's a genuine paranormal encounter.

Assuming that there is a realm where our souls go after we die, then our ability to observe this in this realm is beyond our grasp. Therefore, I do not believe that people can see spirits or auras. Everyone debates beliefs and almost no body discusses understanding self evident displacement as genetically timed apart here. On the other hand, there are those rare humans that can actually see a part of the uv spectrum that hardly any other humans can see. Also, I recognize that just because your brain doesn't allow you to see infrared light, your eyes actually do sense it and can be blinded by it.
