In the Police Blotter in the local paper, about 80% is all homeless crimes, that and dog attacks. It fills half a page every day! DAYUM!
Tons of addicts are sent down this way for treatment, but large numbers of them end up being kicked out of the Rehabs and Sober Living facilities ---- and end up homeless & stranded down here, doing any crime necessary to get their drugs... A little south of me is Lake Park, Delray Beach, Lantana, Lake Worth... You see these young junkies everywhere panhandling & prostituting.. Not sure if we are experiencing the Meth crisis as bad as on your West coast --- but Fentanyl has put quite a few young folks here in the grave..
