Your historical recollection is a bit flawed. Nancy Pelosi did not become Speaker until the midterms. There was an investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, but there was NO ANYTHING having to do with impeachment until AFTER the clown had lost and lost big in 2018. And if you think there WASN'T Russian interference in the 2016 election, then you obviously NEVER read volume one of the Mueller report.
