What on Earth would make you think that manipulating children to into mutilating themselves is okay in any context? They are children. They don't have the maturity, or experience, to make these kinds of adult decisions.

Why do I even have to say that?
If it harms anyone, the harm is limited to the person wishing the operation and his/her parents.
Without the consent of adults, there will be no operation.
So if there is someone to blame, they are the ones to blame.

You don't even have to say that. Say whatever you wish, but no one is obliging you to say that, or anything.

Oh my God. Look, protecting children is everybody's business. Not just the parents. Parents harm their children. There is child abuse, by the parents, everyday in this country. So to say 'well the parents are involved, so...blah blah blah...' does nothing for your argument.

It is foolish to pass laws because some people think something is "not okay".

Does it harm anyone but the person involved, who has already decided to change genders? No, it does not.
If she is not permitted to have surgery in (name a state), then it ls likely that if she has the money to have it done in (another state.)
If she is likely to commit suicide id=f she does not get what she wants, doesn't that change the acceptability of the surgery?

I see no reason for me, or any government, to get involved here.
1. Is it FOOLISH to pass a law that make MURDER illegal because some people think it's NOT OKAY?? Because there is a WHOLE SEGMENT of society that sees NOTHING wrong with murdering people- INCLUDING YOU, Dr. PEDO!!!

2. IF she/he is LIKELY to commit SUICIDE if they don't get their way changing genders, then YOU JUST VALIDATED THE FACT THAT ITS A MENTAL DISORDER AND NOT ONE THAT NEEDS TO BE TREATED WITH LIFE ALTERING MUTILATION!! You treat those with THERAPY and INSTITUTIONALIZATION IF NEEDED!!

3. SUICIDE is illegal so do you think that doesn't harm people?? As is DRUG ADDICTION, ALCOHOLISM, AND MANY OTHER DISORDERS that you don't seem to think "harms other people".

I would note, however, that if you were to google "Comfortable with Sexuality"  you get about 28 million hits so it's not THAT odd a term.
Lots of homos ARE comfortable with their sexuality.
Nice try.

Being comfortable in your own skin is a sign of maturity.

My barber is gay. I am an adult. He touches me obviously.
I am comfortable and so is he. Two adults.
My point is this:
I have a friend who is a "man's man", loves women, lusty dude.
He will not go to this barber. He is not comfortable in his own skin in regards to gays.

Bear in mind that NONE of this revolves around cutting body parts.
It does have to do with awkward vs comfortable.
You'd have to be nearly insane, mentally hurting so bad, or just plain brainwashed by groomers' "It is great" fables to decide to go 'permanent' at the chop shop.

Not just "uncomfortable". You progs want to minimize and relabel just to get your way.
Sorry but I don't buy that line of reasoning or dismissive attitude.
I'll stick with the underlined statement above. It doubtless fits 99.9% of chopped people.

Codify it.
@Deezer Shoove    This is my position.  I do think it is inappropriate to let someone who has not at least nominally matured make such a momentous, irreversible decision.  Similarly, I think that if someone is old enough to vote, let's say, or old enough to serve in the military, they should be allowed to slice off their genitalia - or their ears, or bisect their tongues, or cover every inch of their skin with ink, or do whatever the hell they want to do with their own bodies.

And I can not accept them as normal, responsible, stable people.
No biggie. Forcing others to accept **** is **** up. I don't have to do it.
Like labels you progs are so fond of doing... as I already said.

Activists in general . . . suck.

no one ever said you had to accept them, only that you do have to serve them at your restaurant or hardware store like any other citizen.

Normal people just grow up and deal with being short, tall, having or not having a penis, their race, blood relatives, etc.

Radical irreversible surgery isn't a decision made due to "I'm not in the mood today" so you slip on your saddle shoes instead of your Keds.

What pisses me of as much as anything else on this subject is the fact that our major health insurance companies are all on board and willing to cover the huge costs involved in sex change operations.  And there's no way to avoid the fact that EVERYONE ELSE'S PREMIUMS HAVE GONE UP TO COVER IT!

That's complete ****, and it should infuriate everyone paying for that insurance in whole or in part from the premiums they pay on the job.
Isn't it bad enough that this **** idiot is giving free healthcare to every one of the millions of illegals he's stupidly ushered into the country?

Gee, CRAPFACE, that sounds funny as it gets!!

So tell us, WHY do CONSERVATIVES get kicked out of restaurants over their POLITICAL VIEWS like has happened COUNTLESS times??
COLUMNISTS Another conservative faces public shunning.

Liberals grow bolder with their intolerance.

What happened to Gianno Caldwell at a Miami restaurant isn't an isolated incident. Conservatives have been shunned or harassed at other establishments in recent years.Image Ingrid JacquesUSA TODAY

There is a lot more to this story than is being presented, I am highly skeptical of any doctor giving a masectomy over this.

I am not opposed to her needing her parents' consent. But of course, they would be the ones paying for the operation.
You oppose a 15 year old having to get parental consent to have her healthy breasts removed?  Do you also oppose a 15 year old girl having to
  • get parental consent to visit her man-friend in Saudi Arabia?
  • get parental consent to make porn?
  • get parental consent to skip school?
  • get parental consent to work in a factory?
  • get parental consent to drive a car?
  • get parental consent to shoot a gun?
  • get parental consent to fornicate her Spanish teacher?

You've had FACTS shoved up your ARSE and in spite of that, you want to THINK a doctor can't perform a mastectomy on a 15 year old CHILD??

Well, dumbarse, ONE DID and SHE IS SUING THEM OVER IT!!! It's CALLED MALPRACTICE and in spite of what you THINK, it's being done ALL OVER THIS NATION and in MANY STATES today.

And just like MURDERING BABIES, you can believe that too happens DAILY as well. OR do you THINK that no doctor would do that either??

So NOW we give you MORE FACTS!!!

Fact #1....PRESCRIBING PUBERTY BLOCKERS AND THEIR DANGERS!! Seeing how they are CANCER DRUGS with TONS of side effects....
For children at this age and stage of development, puberty-blocking medications are an option. These drugs, known as GnRH agonists, suppress the release of the sex hormones testosterone and estrogen. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved the drugs to treat prostate cancer, endometriosis and central precocious puberty, but not gender dysphoria. Their off-label use in gender-affirming care, while legal, lacks the support of clinical trials to establish their safety for such treatment.

Over the last five years, there were at least 4,780 adolescents who started on puberty blockers and had a prior gender dysphoria diagnosis.

This tally and others in the Komodo analysis are likely an undercount because they didn’t include treatment that wasn’t covered by insurance and were limited to pediatric patients with a gender dysphoria diagnosis. Practitioners may not log this diagnosis when prescribing treatment.
And then we have the SURGERIES that are being done to MUTILATE CHILDREN, rather than TREATING THE MENTAL ILLNESS part of this!!
The ultimate step in gender-affirming medical treatment is surgery, which is uncommon in patients under age 18. Some children’s hospitals and gender clinics don’t offer surgery to minors, requiring that they be adults before deciding on procedures that are irreversible and carry a heightened risk of complications.

The Komodo analysis of insurance claims found 56 genital surgeries among patients ages 13 to 17 with a prior gender dysphoria diagnosis from 2019 to 2021. Among teens, “top surgery” to remove breasts is more common. In the three years ending in 2021, at least 776 mastectomies were performed in the United States on patients ages 13 to 17 with a gender dysphoria diagnosis, according to Komodo’s data analysis of insurance claims. This tally does not include procedures that were paid for out of pocket.
So, FARTS4BRAINS, you want to tell us HOW THIS IS POSSIBLE if YOU DON'T BELIEVE THAT DOCTORS ARE PERFORMING MASTECTOMIES ON CHILDREN???

Here is the SOURCE of the FACTS.... https://www.reuters.com/investigates/sp ... outh-data/
