What you fail to understand is that what we are seeing in society today in regards to lawlessness and mass shootings is a direct result of how this society has raised the current generation.
You are complaining about where we are as a society today, instead of looking at how it is we got here, and trying to correct those mistakes instead.
The fruit is already on the tree at this point. What we need to be concentrating on is making sure the next harvest doesn't turn out as rotten as the one we're having to eat today has.
In short, you're crying about the milk that already gone sour.

The current state of affairs in this Country didn't happen in a vacuum. It's been coming for a while now, and it's going to get worse before it gets better, if it ever gets better.
Banning guns or even enacting new laws won't do **** to stop this. We need to harden the soft targets, and be diligent about looking out for one another first and foremost. This guy that just shot up the mall in Texas threw up all kinds of red flags that should have been caught beforehand, as did the Nashville shooter, and a host of others.
My wife always thought I was crazy for carrying a firearm everywhere I went, now she makes sure I have it before we leave the house. It's just the state of the world anymore.
