And now Russia can't even take Ukraine.
Kind of a hollow victory day.
And don't forget that they were allies of Nazi Gernany until Hitler tried to pull a fast one. If he hadn't done that they would have been on the losing side.

Didn't Russia do to Germany what it did to Napoleon a century before. Gave enough resistance so the people pulling back used scorched earth policy so as the army went further into Russia winter showed up and the people pulling back did a wrap around shutting down the supply line for the german troops with nowhere to go but die fighting or starvation.

Oh my dad during WWII was held in a Russian gulag after the bomber he was in got hit bombing the japanese and they crash landed in Russian occupied territory. Government held him to secrecy after he got back threatening him with a court martial if he went public about his time there. As his son I never heard how long he was there. just that he was there once.

Chain of command and their secrets. Life is self evident.

I'm not. Gee planet rotating counter clockwise since it developed into this perpetual balancing orbit around a star consistently rotating same rate for hundreds of millions of years.

Not likely to switch to clockwise anytime soon. Unless you are living in the southern hemisphere looking at Southern Cross relative to others in northern hemisphere watching polaris.

Only Russians would think that one rifle per 5 men is sound military strategy. 

They did.  Russia ended up with far more land than the US or Allies did.

When I see **** like this ( regardless of the country) 

I can’t help but feel sorry for the people that just want to kiss their babies and live a normal life
