I've gotta ask, is that going to make Tucker Mr. Musk's "white ***"?  I know Musk is from South Africa and all where they used to have a great system of governance during apartheid, but this sort of makes it sound like he's going to own Tucker.

I doubt it. Elon has made his 1st A stance clear...and Tucker would bring a lot more people to Twitter. It would be good for both of them.

What contract, he was fired for breach of conduct. he qualifies for unemployment whatever the rate is for his salary received when performing as contracted to deliver what the network was paying for.

Actually Fox kept Tucker under contract even though they sidelined him...but they still had to pay him. I don't know if that has changed yet or if it's in the works.
