She made money doing so. However, my new staff member in all likelihood did not come to be here because of sally struthers.

Sally saved millions of 4 lb kids.  So there is a good chance.  Dont be so negative.

At least you have a sense of humor. It is likely that she knows nothing of Sally Struthers. Those PSA's stopped in the late 80's and my new staff member was born in 1999.

So you want a fantasy that has zero chance of coming to pass? Again, interesting. If you are so desperate to live away from everyone.. I can recommend plenty of places in Eastern Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, and Wyoming where you will likely never see anyone.

And I assume that your boundaries would be well marked? 

I spent summers in a very remote setting (shoup, idaho) and there were a few of your types out there. they never left their house/ranch. One did not even own a vehicle.

Take Boise and Twin Falls out of it and Idaho is the most sparsely populated in the lower 48.

Not many people there also... that is the same as saying sparsely populated.

As for why.. my guess it has to do with the terrain and lack of population nearby. Central id is not the coldest nor does it get the most snow but there are no population centers nearby so the low population is here to stay for awhile. Being that I spent 7 summers here.. I have an insight that you do not have.
