so what? They mean basically the same thing. Sedition carries a much more severe penalty, but insurrection still sounds cooler

It most certainly is... it carries a penalty that is twice as long.

oh polleeeze
they charged people with the crimes they committed,. attacking police, destroying property, sedition etc.
there was no blanket charge of insurrection other wise everyone who was there would be charged and a few people did not commit an actual crime.

it's a fact. sedition gets you twice the stretch that insurrection does. It's WORSE.
