Let me REMIND you of a little "investigation" that got cancelled by an Attorney General back a few years over CRIMES that were committed by someone VERY close to a President. And there were 48 of those close to that President that went to prison!!
That AG was John Mitchell and that President was Nixon and it was ALL a coverup over the Watergate affair!! Mitchell tried to "cancel" that investigation along with Dean, and quite a few OTHERS around Nixon.

Here's the thing with DeSantis. His rollout sucked. The interview was awful - not DeSantis so much, but Musk's questioning was terrible. And, DeSantis' speech was vapid and childish. Seriously, he can't give worse-than-Jeb-Bush speeches and have a chance against Trump.
FYI, I am not a 100% Trump Supporter and I'm not a 100% DeSantis supporter. I want to see how each perform. Their platforms are nearly identical. Which one has a better chance of beating Biden and implementing their platform? So, I'm really calling this the way I see it.

DeSantis is ALWAYS ANGRY about something. He is putting on an act, he is simply using demagoguery in the same way that Trump did. We do not need divisive leaders like Trump or DeSantis.

This bill modifies the bad faith framework, eliminates one way attorney’s fees and fee multipliers and ensures that Floridians can’t be held liable for damages if the person suing is more at fault. Additionally, this bill expands immunity for property owners defending against a criminal who is injured on their property while providing uniform standards for juries in calculating medical damages and reducing the statute of limitations for general negligence cases from four years to two years. The Governor proposed this legislation in February before the start of the 2023 Legislative Session.

Personally, I'd rather see DeSantis as President than Trump. But, what I want and what will happen are often two very different things. Perhaps neither Trump nor DeSantis beats the Democrat.
