Parallel to the book banning debate around CRT/ LGBT books is one about the supposed censorship of classic literature.  We’re to believe that conservatives are gunning for beloved novels such as Huck Finn and To Kill a Mockingbird.  That might have been true about 70 years ago. Nowadays, however, those classics are banned for an entirely different reason– a reason that has nothing to do with the sensibilities of conservatives.  Most “Banned” BooksThe most targeted books in school curriculums and libraries, according to USA Today, are led by Gender Queer and Lawn Boy, which have LGBT themes:Image

I agree with this,
-----------------------------------------------------While modern librarians might be familiar with such titles, they are not exactly known and beloved by the general public.  In that sense, there are two “book banning” debates: One is about young adult books that are controversial due to their explicit content (graphic images of sexual acts, etc.).  Some of the books eliciting those concerns are on the list above.  Those who advocate for the controversial LGBT/CRT oriented books are shoehorning Huck Finn in with the “banned books” phenomenon so as to generate more sympathy with the public– by evoking novels which we actually do love.

and they add they banned huckleberry finn to make them seem like victims but huckleberry finn was banned because it had the n word. but they don't mention that part. all those  'you are a gay second grader'   books should be banned.

How do the phags nurse the turd? Does the baby stool also poop? Does it have arms and legs and can crawl?

You can say it. The name is "*** Jim." Great character, and good friend to Huck. You'd think they'd want to keep the book because Huck's father was an abusive, drunken cracker.

All I know is that after Peter Buttgag gave that last push during labor, the dime expanded and before the CROWNING achievement, a hard fart preceded the birth. When the newborn poo plopped out, the doctor didn't catch it, donned nose plugs, and exclaimed "I ain't spanking that!" It made scientific history, and went down in the "anals" of obstetrics. The umbilicus and placenta were something to behold. A bottle of Purple Drank served as the placenta, feeding the alcohol to the turd via a black junkie's heroin tube as an umbilicus. That was the extent of its prenatal care. And I'm not kidding, either.

Peter named his new son DeShawn DeWashington DeFeces.

thet said the book was racist but huckleberry and jim  were friends.

I had a black teacher and he said that was how they talked at the time, n word, that twaine was not racist and he actually showed harmony. it was banned when it first came out because huck was a ruffian. I did not think so.

my black teacher did not think it should have banned, least of all because of the n word.

and the gays use huckleberry as symbol of conservative banning which it isn't, at least the recent banning.

if it is not about gay sex or transsexuals it has no business being on the library shelf.

there are so many books about gay stuff it is incredible. it is like they try to flood the libraries and book stores and replace any other books.

The idea is to keep it front and center and in everybody's face until it becomes "normal".

It's called conditioning... which is the polite way of saying grooming.

Really, they don't target children? Maybe not all, but yes, some do. Go to a large police precinct and ask the question to any detective working vice and crimes against children.
