A) you have a freshman 15 yo granddaughter 100 meter track star, state bound and college prospects...in comes 15 yo boy "identifying as a female" is also a 100 meter mediocre sprinter on boy's team but blows the doors off your granddaughter's chances for state and college prospects...besides that, the boys junk is exposed to your granddaughter as "she" can shower with the girls...

does this bother you that your granddaughter is being robbed of her potential collegiate future?

B) your freshman 15yo grandson is the boy listed in scenario A and wants to be on the girl's track team...

does this bother you that your grandson is joining the girl's track team for what appears to be nefarious reasons?

I agree with you completely, but that's not what's happening...there's needs to be a balance and boundaries need to be set...but for some reason, it seems to be all or nothing. You stating "why should I care about what a guy does by wearing a dress or high heels is somewhat disingenuous (and true), but it's trickling down into our everyday lives and the potential for your grandchildren to be affected or exposed to are increasingly becoming exponential...

Being "exposed" to cross-dressing is not the same as being exposed to chicken pox.  You can't "catch" transvestitism or transgenderism or homosexuality.  I can remember going to NYC as a ten-year-old to my older sister's wedding and, for the first time, seeing homosexuals and transvestites walking down the street.  My father simply explained to me who they were and I "suffered" no damage from my "exposure" to them.  My son and daughter-in-law will undoubtedly raise my granddaughter to be a kind and tolerant and polite young woman who will treat everyone with respect regardless of their race, color, creed, or sexual orientation.  Just like I raised him.

One magazine cover is hardly "the ruse of the century".
It is more like a short campaign to attract readers.

Male and female is determined by chromosomes. It is IMPOSSIBLE to change the chromosome makeup of a human.  Both those statements are scientific fact.  Why are you a science denier?

And I wholeheartedly agree, being "exposed" won't change a person, however, when children as young as 5 (kindergarten) are exposed to the whole LGBTQIA's agenda including sex change treatment and surgery their entire adolescent lives, they won't be swayed? People and especially children are very impressionable...case in point, many of those abused as a child end up down the same path and abuse as well...

I understand the concept of abuse leading to abuse, that's learned behavior, not orientation.  Again, I ask you... could you have possibly been "swayed" to like sucking a cock when you were younger?  I know without a scintilla of doubt that I am a hardwired heterosexual man and I have known that from the day my heart fluttered when I kissed Nancy Watson on the lips at the top of 25th Street Hill on our way home from kindergarten.  NOTHING anybody could have shown me or told me about or had me read about could have EVER gotten me to start getting attracted to guys instead of girls.  And the gay men that I have known in my life say exactly the same thing. They KNEW they were gay at a very early age.  Many of them tried like hell to "**** away the gay" because, seriously, who would CHOOSE to endure all the negativity that society has always shown toward gays and lesbians... and that has only lessened ever so slightly in the last couple of decades.  I think the rise in younger kids identifying as LBGTQ is a result of the lessening of the stigma and an increase of peer acceptance and not as a result of "grooming".  I seriously don't think that there is some incremental increase in the number of LBGTQ people in the world... I think, sad to say, that, for centuries, there were vast numbers of lonely, unhappy, frightened LBGTQ people in the closet walking around acting like they were straight all the while secretly knowing otherwise.
