Been at this point for 20+ years. Spending summers with my conservative granddad who had quite the aversion to hyperbole jaded my view of the media. "Shocking", "Breaking News"... most likely a bunch of exaggeration and filling in the blanks.

Only "television" I watch is various shows on streaming services such as Dexter, Law and Order, etc. Why do I not watch news or network television? Simple.. Nefarious rarely says anything that is not an opinion, and generally one not based on facts.

Believe what you want.. but you know nothing about me. Most news that I read about is sourced indirectly by forums or word of mouth. If I see/hear it enough.. I will look into it. Most likely.. you are projecting. You are the one who watches the news and reflexively reacts to it.
