It would seem that some people think that the PRA lets the outgoing president unilaterally decide that the Nuclear Launch Codes magically can become unclassified personal records at the wave of his hand and that he can take them with him and show them to all his friends at his country club. Those people are dumber than a box of rocks.

My eyesight is great. I wear readers now, and I will admit to having put on a few pairs of "beer goggles" earlier in my life, but now, I can see quite clearly. You are correct in one thing: The clown was not charged with violating the PRA, for one reason... the PRA is not a criminal statute and this was a criminal indictment. He was charged with violating the Espionage Act. The Espionage Act doesn't care about classification and it doesn't care about whether anyone has called a particular document personal or presidential.
