Neglected in all this discussion is, that in 20 years Trump will be dead, and this nation will go on, and on, and on.

In our schools, usually about the seventh grade, all schoolchildren must study the Presidents.

Schoolteachers always find at least one good thing to say about every one. That includes Buchanan, Grant, Harding, Nixon, and now Trump.

But other than maybe Andrew Jackson, Trump is the wildest, most outrageously awful, biggest piece of **** to ever hold the office, and there have been really ****, bad Presidents.

Thd only major legislation be passed was a tax cut for the wealthy, which if you are wealthy you might agree with.

And his administration did develop a Covid vaccine in record time, but his supporters preferred quack cures and remedies and died at about twice the rate as Democrats. The school marms may have to skip that one.

Should Trump avoid jail, schoolteachers will hold him up with Andrew Johnson, an alcoholic who avoided impeachment and removal, by one vote.

I hope Trump lives to guide children through his library, and serve as an example the dumbest man to ever be President, had three beautiful wives and built grand hotels and became a billionaire and avoided prison.

We shouldn’t send him to prison, although he might deserve it.

If you lock him up you own him.

He’d have to be kept like Napoleon on Elba, lest somebody hurt or kill him.

I have proven to you that intent is not in the subsection named in the indictment.  I have shown you that it IS listed in other sections not cited in the indictment.

You should actually prove me wrong and not just falsely claim that you already have.

Simply stated, having a reason to believe that something might damage the United States is not the same as having the intent to damage the United States.
what is different between transference and evolving? Your ideology is a false narrative because it doesn't explain the natural time you exist in plain sight.

You think the other nations should not pay their fair share in NATO? Why?

That's Korea's decision. If it wasn't for us they would be speaking... "north" Korean.

Would have could have should have. Stop crying about what congress did. There are lots of under-handed crap the democrats did to republicans in congress. Thank God! Garland didn't get on the supreme court. He is one corrupt piece of **** AND we have proof of it.

The LEAKS that they make of the Trump Tape will PREJUDICE any jury and will be TOTALLY EXCLUDED as any presentable evidence. You can bet THAT motion is in the works NOW.

AND not having any of the DOCUMENTS that allegedly Trump had and was discussing means it's TOTALLY **** and will be excluded from trial.
that is plain stupid . evidence is supposed to convince the jury.

1. You are correct.  having them unwittingly and returning them when asked is NOT a serious crime.
2.  I never said that. I just said that I wouldn't throw the baby out with the bathwater and dissolve the alliance over an argument about dues

Here’s what the law saysThe specific language in 18 US Code 793 (e), which is cited in the indictment against Trump, goes like this, and I’ve put the key portion in bold:(e)Whoever having unauthorized possession of, access to, or control over any document, writing, code book, signal book, sketch, photograph, photographic negative, blueprint, plan, map, model, instrument, appliance, or note relating to the national defense, or information relating to the national defense which information the possessor has reason to believe could be used to the injury of the United States or to the advantage of any foreign nation, willfully communicates, delivers, transmits or causes to be communicated, delivered, or transmitted, or attempts to communicate, deliver, transmit or cause to be communicated, delivered, or transmitted the same to any person not entitled to receive it, or willfully retains the same and fails to deliver it to the officer or employee of the United States entitled to receive it; or …That’s the whole point here. The National Archives and the FBI tried repeatedly over time to get the material back. But the government has accused Trump of hiding from the government and his own lawyers.

@golfboy

793(e) does NOT require his intent to hurt America.

(e) Whoever having unauthorized possession of, access to, or control over any document, writing, code book, signal book, sketch, photograph, photographic negative, blueprint, plan, map, model, instrument, appliance, or note relating to the national defense, or information relating to the national defense which information the possessor has reason to believe could be used to the injury of the United States or to the advantage of any foreign nation, willfully communicates, delivers, transmits or causes to be communicated, delivered, or transmitted, or attempts to communicate, deliver, transmit or cause to be communicated, delivered, or transmitted the same to any person not entitled to receive it, or willfully retains the same and fails to deliver it to the officer or employee of the United States entitled to receive it; or

do you see all those "OR"s in there?

Explain to me how willfully retaining a document is synonymous with INTENDING to hurt America with that document.

Compare the language to this line from 793 (a):  Whoever, for the purpose of obtaining information respecting the national defense with intent or reason to believe that the information is to be used to the injury of the United States.

Evidence that has been LEAKED that in fact DOES taint a jury pool to be BIASED AND HAVING MADE UP THEIR MIND TO GUILT OR INNOCENCE is NO LONGER usable in ANY COURT since that means no matter WHAT EXCULPATORY EVIDENCE IS PRESENTED, THE JURY HAS ALREADY DETERMINED GUILT!!

THAT isn't considered a "impartial jury" under ANY circumstances, ASSLICKER!! And that means whatever was LEAKED is going to be tough **** for the prosecution to use, MORON!!
