The mosquitos are terrible, and there is now a forest fire in the BWCA, so the skies are hazy/hazier.

We know about smoke here too.  Fire season can suck...and sometime we get the smoke from fires in Idaho and Washington.  

Years ago we had a terrible fire season all around us. The smoke was so thick it was like driving through a Stephen King movie.  Yuk!

It's great here today. It's getting up to about 68 a little later. My favorite kind of weather and it will be here for at least 1 1/2 weeks.   

Just call me Mr. Cool.      

2019 and 2020, we had an epic fire season. It got to the point where even the healthiest would get asthma-like conditions in 5 minutes (AQI index of 300 up to 450). It really took over life for a few weeks. However, this year has not been nearly as warm and dry as most years and so the fire season seems like it will be late (August) or maybe not at all. It helps that the fires in northern and eastern CA burned a lot of their fuel and so not much left. Well, lets hope that the fire season out east slows down or comes to an end.
