I would think that a "Soviet-style raid" would end with the store owner being arrested and sent off to Siberia.
So it seems to have been a rather ordinary search for information, almost certainly they had a warrant.
I am not going to care about this, not even a bit.

If so, it's just another indicator that Demonrats will subvert the law any way they can.
They will twist and mix words to make the law or make the law NOT do what it means, just like voting laws.
