  Seems like the new virus may have clogged up my arteries last winter and drove my blood pressure up. The last time i threw up was back in 2012, I took gator aid on a sailboat trip in the summer of 2012 and got into a storm, the gator aid apparently has anti freeze chemical additives. I lost about thirty pounds and the blood pressure went down but I should probably just take one of his photos to his favored lake area in stead of the military funeral.

Believe me, they do not know how to fight, unless they learned it before joining the military.  They may receive a few hours spread over a week of some crash course in mixed marshal arts.  (If I'm wrong, then you tell us how many hours/days of training they actually receive in this regard.)  Freaking pathetic.

LOL!  Perhaps you should read what you link to:  " Marine Corps Martial Arts training doesn’t aim to make a cage fighter out of every Marine. In addition to the fighting techniques, the Marine Corps focuses on physical conditioning, studies of warrior cultures, and warrior ethos training."

They don't become fighters!  They have some wannabe-bad-*** instructor run a few drills and throw the raw *** on the ground or put them in a choke, and that's it.  Then, the grunt-*** get to try it out on each other.  Here's what they don't do:

• They don't spar for 2-3 hours a day 3-4 days a week for YEARS;
• They don't get to spar against seasoned, experienced fighters
• They don't get hurt, as in breaking ribs, breaking noses, or getting knocked out.
• They don't put in the work on a heavy bag, double-end bag, or with pads punching and kicking 5 days a week
• They aren't forced to fight competitively
• They don't fight their instructors
• They don't fight other schools or other branches of the military.

If they aren't training to be viscous cage fighters, then they are just jacking off in a Marine circle-jerk.  And, "ethos training" - LOL, what the F- is that? Is that going to save their ***-*** when someone snaps their elbows in an arm-bar and then choke them to death?  Or, gouges their eyes out?

Physical conditioning IS A GIVEN.  Its something you do OUTSIDE of fighting, training to fight or even working a heavy bag.  Today's Marines don't fight.  They ***-off and decorate themselves with PRIDE tattoos.

And, I've fought a couple of big F-ers who did know how to fight.  I've had my nose broken, my hand broken, my ribs bruised many times, face and neck cut (guy had sharpened nails) have seen stars plenty of times.  I have trained with a knife and with a gun.

I am qualified to opine on the sketchy, mediocre hand-to-hand fight training that Marines get while in boot camp.  But, here's the thing, I have no idea if you know how to fight or not.  I just know what my skill set is. You're qualified to opine on the training Marines get... because you CLAIM you are qualified?  I get it.  Again, you could be a teenage girl for all any of us really know and so could I, for that matter.  So your bragging about YOUR skills doesn't really score a lot of points with me.  Me?  I can count the number of knock-down drag-out fights I have gotten into in my whole life on two hands, and I can count the number I have won on one hand.  

I, personally have known an LOT of Marines in my life.  Fully 20% of my company at Annapolis took the Marine Corps option and all but one of them stayed in for a full career.  They were all badasses then and, when I hung out with them at our 50th reunion last October, they were STILL badasses.  We were strolling as a group through the yard one afternoon and as one of the jarheads, who had been a collegiate wrestler,  passed one of the myriad of randomly placed exercise stations dotting the campus, he jumped up and grabbed the pullup bar with his right hand and rapidly cranked out ten one-arm pull-ups, dropped back down, grinned and we just kept walking as if nothing had happened.  He was 72 **** years old!

I was far too young to have a **** thing to do with Korea, and I was an east coast sailor for the last three years of Vietnam, so I really had no part in that, but I did keep the Russkies away from dominating the Atlantic, which would have sucked if they had prevailed.  I accept your thanks for MY service every month... and my much younger wife will probably not take the time to thank you when I'm worm food, but will accept your grateful thanks nonetheless.  now GFY
