Only two places that I have been to would earn the title of "****". Bakersfield CA and Rock Springs WY. Both places when I visited them were filthy, decrepit, and rundown. No politics here. Bakersfield... place looked like no one knew how to maintain a building. Rock Springs was just a sea of dilapidated aluminum siding trailer homes, trash cans, and beat up run down vehicles.sootedupCyndi » 10 Jul 2023, 12:39 pm » wrote: ↑ I was told i live On the wrong side of town. But There is no town. so I guess they were right. HA
I graduated highschool in Bozeman, 1979. Back then, lot of talk about people moving in from California. Today, Gallatin county leans blue, never thought I'd see the day.DeplorablePatriot » 23 Jun 2023, 4:28 pm » wrote: ↑ **** yeah!!!!!!!!
1/4 mile from a very large lake...Trump signs everywhere. Forst Service trails everywhere. Deer, bear and grouse in the yard. No garbage along the road, pink-haired alphabet people or homeless drug addicts or crazies anywhere near, just folks with land who work for a living and love the flag.
I've decided to be an anti-liberal advocate in the area to stem the slow tide of dumbocrites filtering in and destroying what was decent, into a **** the likes of what happened where I'm moving from.
Should be flipping off this town on the way out in 5 weeks.
**** yeah!!!!!!
Anyone who thinks college students have the minds of full grown adults...doesn't think. They glue their hands to streets.impartialobserver » 10 Jul 2023, 11:37 am » wrote: ↑ gays and lesbians happen and always have. did you make sure the breakers were open, not closed,
is here a fuel shutoff valve you didn't see to open.
dead battery if electric start?
Is it just new to you? i.e. returned by someone else and resold to you without correcting the problem
Don't take this personal, I am just sarcastic as usual.
I find 75% when something new doesn't work, I was in too much of a hurry to make sure it would start. I seldom read instructions on stuff and skim over the pictures.
It is why I am my own worst enemy alive. I corrected my reality and still have my usual bad habits.
It's the carburetor - it's always the carburetor.sootedupCyndi » 10 Jul 2023, 12:43 pm » wrote: ↑ Got a bran new one. Generac. wont start... don't get me started it cost a fortune. i am very PIZZED!

we have periodically start it? and I wont be polite! cost us almost a grand!
plus an electrician to change the plugs.
A guy at the local beer store told me... it could be a sensor! common!
A new generator!!! This is the first time in my life- going back 20 years? I do NOT have a generate that works!
Generac... brand new!
what in the hell does an emergency thing do for us? if it doesn't work????
gawd help us if a thing like this- doesn't work!
yea i know..
what brand?
Well what in the hell is wrong with ours? brand new
who is ours?
me and Bob.
Look on the bright side. It is july, not January. Something wrong with the wiring or gap to the magnito on the fly wheel. no spark to spark plug/s.Second is fuel line blockage. maybe the float in the carb is stuck shut.sooted up Cyndi » 21 Jul 2023, 1:31 pm » wrote: ↑ oh yea? new oil- new plugs- the entire gambit? wtf? If it ran before and suddenly won't now, it is something like a loose wire or a sensor (don't know what your system has). Probably very simple to fix.sootedupCyndi » 21 Jul 2023, 3:07 pm » wrote: ↑ Well what in the hell is wrong with ours? brand new
started once a month-
bob changes the oil- by the book?
never started AGAIN!!!
you tube said- oil level?
no we checked that?
The ol man at the beer store said uh- sensors? the thing is brand new... that's what you tube said.
and i'm furious over it ..
900 bucks out the window... for something not dependable!
emergency things- should be designed to be a bit more dependable.
I guess we just bought us- a WOKE ONE!![]()
bob is no dummy?
yea its oil- pull cord. If we cant tinker on it and get it running. I'm going to have to get someone over here to fix it.DeezerShoove » 21 Jul 2023, 8:49 pm » wrote: ↑ If it ran before and suddenly won't now, it is something like a loose wire or a sensor (don't know what your system has). Mine is a 24 year old Honda. It is not automatic start. **** that.
Just another thing to go wrong...
I run natural gas same as the furnace. I have never even changed the oil.
It is still as clean as if it were a lightly used gasoline fueled engine.
I may change it this year. Natural gas is VERY clean burning. No tank to fill.
Gas bill goes up that month but still better than going to a hotel during an outage.
