Yes, exactly. Want to understand why? I can explain it in less than 2 paragraphs and cover the entire history of the human race since dawn of civilization.

You need to relax. I was giving you a bad time. Congrats on buying a house in what I view as the best place in America. Missoula, Thompson Falls, St. Regis, etc. are great places. Amazing fishing/hunting and the folks are great as well. My home state is Idaho and while it is near and dear to me.. I always found Montana to be the better place. Slightly less political activism, better scenery, less overt religion, and better restaurants. We got a bison burger from some place just south of Missoula once.. heaven on a plate. Anyways, enjoy.

I'm relaxed. The words aren't. I agree with you for the most part. IMO, Christianity is quite overt in Montana in comparison to the West coast. God and Jesus signs are evident on billboards and on private land. I'm not biased in this because I do not subscribe to any specific religion except the religion of right and wrong which is innate in most people, but not nearly enough of them. I noticed the overt Christianity right off. Maybe not as much in the larger cities like Missoula and Bozeman, though. There are several around the Helena area though.

Kind of why the old joke about carrying a knife to a gun fight. The person carrying the knife didn't expect a gun aiming back. Choice of concealed weapons kind of shows the type of character an ancestor is before there was a conflict to begin with.
