I bought this shirt a while back because I thought it was funny and I like the movie Pulp Fiction. While wearing it, a couple of people asked me if I was woke.
I think the left has appropriated Bert and Ernie and made them gay, and they are now part of the Alphabet Mafia. Can I still wear this shirt or am I sending the wrong message?

Children's characters being worn by adults always borders on creepy.Punch » 28 Jun 2023, 4:00 pm » wrote: ↑

Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not.
I see adults wearing Disney shirts and feel puking or hitting them.
I like it and think you should keep wearing it. If you get that comment again…say “I’m awake, not woke.”Punch » 28 Jun 2023, 4:00 pm » wrote: ↑

Bert and Ernie were heterosexual life mates loosely based on the odd couple. I am sure that their origin has changed and the famous rubber ducky now serves as a butt plug.Punch » 28 Jun 2023, 4:00 pm » wrote: ↑

That made me remember I still have this one in the closet, I got it years ago for the same reasons... I can't even recall the last time I put it on though, sesame street went woke a long time ago and Bert and Ernie aren't cool anymore... you better not wear that shirt anymore, it sends the wrong message and the woke generation probably won't get the reference anyway..Punch » 28 Jun 2023, 4:00 pm » wrote: ↑
