there are still work arounds...just like is currently done in california (AA has technically been illegal there a long time). It is similar to how southern states could disenfranchise black voters a long time after it was technically unconstitutional: you simply focus on things strongly correlated with race instead of speaking about race.

one of the annoying things about this case was that the lawyer arguing against affirmative actually really only spoke about its impact on asians. The truth is that a purley merit based admission system would not increase the asain student percent by even 1%. what would drastically change is the white population...especially poor whites. poor white people are shafted the most in this country.

whatever laws you change is simply cosmetic. THe only way to actually end the oppression of whites would be to remove all the people currently in admissions and replace them with people of a different ideology (people who do not hate white people). Otherwise there is no end to the various work arounds to effectively continue affirmative action.

Several years ago, I read an article about eliminating people from the admissions process as much as possible by implementing a point system and awarding the various types of admission to those with the highest points. Things included for high school graduates were 5 points for top 5% of class, 4 points for top 10% on down to no points for bottom 50%. A point was awarded for National Merits Scholars, 1 point for each extracurricular activity, etc. Since the points would also be used for awarded institution controlled general financial aid, points were awarded based on the financial situation of the family, with lower income families getting more points than wealthy. There were several other things that would give points, including one point for each generation of the immediate family that attended the institution. Names would not be associated with the points because names can give away race and if 15 applicants were tied in points and only 10 spots remained, geography would be considered...but the four regions were the time zones so they wouldn't know if someone in the East region was from Maine or Georgia. The key point was...every race got the same number of points...ZERO.

I have to admit, that (or a very similar system) seems to be the only way to eliminate work arounds and bias.

If it is cool for the Black Tribe to pursue racial power,
then is OK for all the other races to pursue racial power, also ?

it is not cool for the black tribe to pursue power in the USA. they did not make this country, it is not supposed to be for them.

Would the Black Tribe be happier if they had their own state w/ their own police,
prisons, schools, banks, & hospitals ?   I am talking about 'voluntary separation'
for the freedom, prosperity, & happiness of all parties concerned.

this is not true. a purely merit based admissions in university would not increase the number of asian students. which it is true that asians score marginally higher on iq tests than the average white person (although far lower than the average middle class white person)...their population is not high enough for this to matter very much. there are more white people with an iq over 120 than the total number of asians in the USA.

A purely merit based admission system would dramatically increase the number of whites admitted...especially poor whites. Asians Would likely decrease among the student body.
