oh...it happened under white nationalism. it happened when intelligent white people could actually feel like they belonged in their country and it was serving them uniquely. people had a REASON to strive and accomplish great things for their people.
today is nothing like the scientific revolution. DIscovery is quite stagnant. and white people are ashamed of being born white and are embarrassed that white people ever accomplished great things.

this is my hilarious prediction for the general backlash against this ruling:
the 'left' will cry that this benefits white people.
the 'GOP' will respond that no, it benefits ASIAN people.
both sides will agree that anything that might benefit whites is evil, and could result in 6 million dead jews.

I would entertain an argument that standardized tests don't produce the most qualified applicants. But if that is the metric, you don't purposely get around it by imposing equity goals.
