What else do you think I NEED, midwit?
Sustain you? You must be close to expiration then. I haven't cried in a long time... and certainly NEVER as a result of anything happening in this silly little chat box.Cannonpointer » 03 Jul 2023, 11:12 pm » wrote: ↑ This was the only part you got right, penis cheeks.
Your tears sustain me.
The problem is he was not prosecuted for any act he did, but rather what he did not do.Xavier_Onassis » 04 Jul 2023, 9:14 am » wrote: ↑ It is clear that he did not do the job he was hired for. A life sentence was certainly not the appropriate sentence. I would prefer to hear all the testimony before deciding on an appropriate sentence.
ha ha ha pay your debt to society? now that is one of the greatest hoaxes ever assembled in history of the we mentality.maineman » 03 Jul 2023, 7:26 am » wrote: ↑ I don't attack with glee EVERY TIME there is a shooting. And I too think that paying one's debt to society ought to mean just that. Do your sentence and then step back into society with all rights and privileges. Guns, voting, the whole enchilada. I believe that MAGA's view felons as a bit less than human, kinda like they do blacks and gays, so denying THEM their 2A rights is not the same as denying those same rights to solid, flag wavin' 'Muricans.
The causes of mass shooting have **** all to do with guns. Take away guns and they'll bomb the schools or gas the schools.Bruce » 04 Jul 2023, 12:17 am » wrote: ↑ Here’s our problem, yours and mine.
When Ronald Reagan froze new machine guns in May 1986, the gun shops were peddling Remington 700s, Ruger 77s, Winchester 70s, and Savage 110s, and Glocks were not invented yet.
Last time I went in a gun shop it was 90+ % black guns, ARs and plastic blaster pistols, and Fudd guns scarce.
Not one murder has ever been committed by a registered NFA machine gun since 1934, out of almost a million registered. Not a single robbery either.
That’s because of a $200 transfer fee and a six month wait. Only gun nuts with money buy machine guns.
If Reagan had a working crystal ball, he’d have banned new AR and AK sales in 86, and put an 8 round 45 caliber exception (1911) on auto pistols, the rest banned.
There would not be hundreds of mass shootings a year. Not one school with 20 dead children and hundreds of cops cowering in the hallways.
And we were all quite happy, with a Weatherby Mark V 300 Weatherby Mag being every kid’s dream gun.
Our problem is, less than half the population owns guns.
They will eventually tire of this **** of mass murders ever day and we start trying to explain the difference between a clip and a magazine and an assault rifle and a semi automatic modern sporting rifle.
In 1986, a woman could get an abortion until the second the kid popped his head out. It was her constitutional right!!!
How did that end up?

I came close, once, but it was when I was laughing so hard AT you, I ALMOST cried.

The cop should never have been prosecuted. Peterson was incompetent and deserves to be fired, but he did not commit any crime.Bruce » 30 Jun 2023, 12:36 am » wrote: ↑ A Florida jury on Thursday cleared a former school security officer who was charged over his failure to confront a gunman who massacred 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in 2018, in an emotional trial that left bitter feelings on both sides.Scot Peterson, who was a Broward County sheriff’s deputy and worked as a resource officer at the school in Parkland, was charged in 2019 with seven counts of neglect of a child, three counts of culpable negligence and one count of perjury.
He was found not guilty on all counts. As the first acquittals were announced, an emotional Peterson put his head down on the defense table and openly wept. The charges carried a maximum potential sentence of 96½ years in state prison, the Broward County State Attorney’s Office said.Seventeen students, teachers and staff members were killed Feb. 14, 2018, and 17 more were injured. Peterson, 60, was the only other person at the school with a gun when the shooter opened fire. He was forced to retire after the shooting.

This may have been the only prosecution in the United States of any police officer for failure to stop a crime in progress.
The officer was 60 years old, only had a service revolver, and was facing a kid armed with an AR-15 who was inside of a school firing at children.
He without question was a coward.
But do we demand a man a man be brave or else go to prison for life?
