You evidently haven't met the right cops. Like the one I personally know who was shot through the shoulder from a .44 magnum wheel gun by a drunk **** stopped in the middle of the road. Cop kept composed, moved behind the rear wheel, plugged the drunk **** in the head and neck through the back window, killing his drunk ***, then called for medical assistance. That takes balls and skill. Took him many months to recover. I visited his precinct. Lifted weights in their exercise room. They were some tough sons -a- bitches. All were taught fighting skills. No fat asses. One guy looked like Dolf Lundgren. Snap your neck. No donuts.

People who stereotype cops in the same bad light haven't behaved themselves, were caught doing so, and aren't man enough to admit fault.
Not stereotyping cops. This particular police officer in question, did exactly what I said. He hopped on the back of a golf cart the janitor was driving and got the **** outta dodge.

And then the whole world watched as the ENTIRE Broward County Sheriff's department sat idly by forever while the shooter went on a rampage.

Then a few years later in Uvalde, Texas, The world watched yet AGAIN, An ENTIRE police department standing down, afraid to confront the shooter. It was so bad that the parents had to take matters into their own hands to save the children.

People have to be able to defend themselves.

I own guns.  I have owned guns for many many years.  I do not support taking guns away from law-abiding citizens.  I DO support some common-sense measures to control the plague of gun violence.
You and leftists like you begat the plague of gun violence, and continue to exacerbate it, fruitlooper. Gun violence didn't become the problem it is until liberalism expanded. You are a worthless human who lives with a fantasy brain. BTW, where the **** is Jackie????

I support the right of the people to own guns.  I own guns.

I would love to find some way to institute common-sense gun laws that can somehow curb gun violence.

I would somehow find a way to put up with my granddaughter being exposed to transsexual literature or transsexual classmates in the girl's room with her a dozen times if I could guarantee that she would not be exposed to AR-15 gunfire ripping her little body apart as she sat in the school cafeteria.

Which is exactly the reason those shooters choose an AR 15 and backpacks full of loaded 30 round  magazines.

My friends are prone to reminisce how we all took our guns to school fifty years ago.

Yes we did, our hunting guns. Back then you only saw military weapons in the movies.

They also feel wise knowing the difference between a clip and a magazine and an assault rifle and a civilian Armalite, which is only plays to the Second Amendment saints already singing in the choir.

Ronald Reagan was right about banning assault weapons.  I didn’t agree then, but he was the last Republican that could have prevented black guns being by far the most popular new guns sold today.

We didn’t miss them, before we had them.

I lived 50 years and only saw a couple of Confederate flags, and those in front of old run down mobile homes with junk cars in the yard, and while I heard some racial jokes I never heard anybody say the n word in public in front of decent people.

Then Obama was elected. The sewers opened on overt racism in 2008.

I always thought, electing a black President might help racism in America.

Ive been wrong about a lot of things, but maybe the most wrong about that.

I would rather die in a plane crash than have ISIS torch me. Or have terminal cancer. So what? What the holee **** is wrong with you and your false equivalencies?
Besides, MANY more black youths are killing one another than school shootings...by FAR. Find a way to address that first, since more kids die in the dark streets.
But Noooooo! That's soooo raciss, says the ******.
The only answer to the problem is to have mandated public executions for all shootings. It works for Singapore, it will work for us.
But nooo! Says the bleeding heart ******. That's cruel and unusual punishment. But gun killings aren't cruel?
**** you.

Nonsense. Military type weapons have always been popular with sportsmen...the m1 and m14 for example.

We didn't miss them, before we had them? That's possibly as breathtakingly an astute a statement as Nancy Pelosi's "We have to pass the bill for you to find out what's in it."

He doesn't know that there is no such thing as an "assault weapon."
And he doesn't know that what he feels are assault weapons, come in many colors, not just black. That will confuse him.

The M-14 never was popular, because of the high price.

I had one, once.  Imagine a Garand with a box magazine.  It was heavy, and I paid a thousand and sold it for more, and spent the money.

In the day M-1 carbines were sort of popular, but they fired an odd ball low powered, almost a pistol round.  I sold mine to a farmer to shoot stray dogs with, and he said it wasn’t good for that, they were too likely to make it home, and that caused a lot of hard feelings.:)

I own an AR-15.  It is a rugged, accurate, reliable and almost unimaginably deadly weapon compared to anything else I’ve owned. No wonder the armies of the free world use the platform.

And while I don’t own a Glock type pistol the damned plastic things are the most efficient handgun in the works for people shooting.  Not that you’d be proud to sit down and admire one, like a revolver or 1911.

The M-1 Carbine was quite effective for close range combat. Not an odd-ball round, merely a .30 caliber round. Not odd because millions were made.
I agree with your AR-15 findings.
But, as much as they aren't as accurate, I'd rather keep my Ruger Mini-14 than the AR-15 for reliability when cleaning it isn't an option.

I shot a Ruger Redhawk that was chambered in.30 caliber.
 Great handgun round..
I own an M1 carbine also.
The AR 15 is o.k. but for real oomph the AR 10 is a much better weapon. Own both.
As for Glocks I own 4.
I actually like the way they look.

I bring up MAGA because the real hardcore guys among that crowd have altars to 2A in their living rooms and, for the most part, refuse to consider any restrictions on the ease with which our fellow citizens can slaughter one another.

And I notice how you dropped the critical conditional part of my quote.  Very deceitful, as was the "pronouns' piece.  Do you honestly think that sort of **** is FUNNY?

Seriouly, all the integrity you possess would fit in a coffee cup...

I'm a hardcore MAGA guy because well, I want to MAGA. You do not. I've never seen a gun alter. But I have seen your alter. It's a multi-colored flag.
Have you ever read posts on a gun forum...you know, those MAGA guys and gals? They enjoy their guns. You can find the same thing with folks on motorcycle and car and truck forums. Neither the MAGA people nor the motorcycle people are malevolent...just discussing their passions.

Oh, and about humor. Find some, you "get off my lawn" old ****.
