SCOTUS kicks you LWNJ SORRY SACKS OF **** IN THE BALLS!! Suck it up, LOSERS, and QUIT BEING DEADBEATS AND PAY BACK THE **** YOU OWN!!! YOU signed the papers, and it SAID YOU WOULD REPAY IT. NOW PAY IT, ASSHOLES!!!

In a 6-3 decision, the court held that federal law does not allow the Secretary of Education to cancel more than $430 billion in student loan debt.

"The Secretary’s plan canceled roughly $430 billion of federal student loan balances, completely erasing the debts of 20 million borrowers and lowering the median amount owed by the other 23 million from $29,400 to $13,600," Chief Justice John Roberts wrote for the majority. "Six States sued, arguing that the HEROES Act does not authorize the loan cancellation plan. We agree."

The initiative, which had been on hold pending litigation, involved the federal government providing up to $10,000 in debt relief – and up to $20,000 for Pell Grant recipients – for people who make less than $125,000 a year. The program was expected to cost the government more than $400,000.

They have kicked the LWNJs BALLS massively this term and are going to continue to do so. Their ILLEGAL AND UNCONSTITUTIONAL GOVERNANCE HAS COME TO AN END and it's making America a more Constitutionally proper nation AGAIN, instead of the "if it feels good, you can do it" nation that Democrats have been ruling with for decades.

Going forward.. the best policy would be to make Student Loans more difficult to obtain. The program of study should mean nothing.. (physics or gender studies) when it comes to getting these loans. To make it fair and equitable.. you make it a purely numbers game based on income and credit history.

Why of course. The reality is, Trump will kick their nasty SOCIALIST NAZI ASSES if he is elected and they know it. I imagine too, they are also trying to keep themselves out of prison too. Trump getting reelected means that the DOJ WILL become a political weapon unlike anything you have seen before.

They'll name a WING at Leavenworth the "Biden Family Wing" in memory of the ENTIRE CLAN who will be staying there.

Question:  Who agreed to the student loan contract and signed it?   Maybe someone could explain this to Bruce?    :)

He's like every other LWNJ going. He will claim that "no one told me I had to pay it back" whining. Or he will claim that someone held a gun to their heads when they were forced to sign it.

Apparently someone held a gun to Bruce's head...fortunately it only damaged the processing part of his brain.  He can still breath.

No need to include race in it. Its a simple item.. If you have a relatively low income but a decent or nonexistent credit history then they apply and get the loans. The loans in most cases would not cover the entirety of the cost.. you still have to be resourceful and get a job and such. Make it a stricly numbers game based on grades (forgot this last time), income, and credit history. The race, religion, geography, etc.. would be meaningless

Also the degree being sought is meaningless as well. If someone wants to get the loan while still paying some to get a Gender Studies degree.. then let them. The thinking is that by making them liable for some.. they start thinking about how applicable the degree is to a job.

Students have little income and few have long term established credit. It should be based in part on major. Society only needs so many gender studies grads, mainly to teach the subject to future students interested in the same twat gazing that preoccupied the applicant. We need a **** of trained medical personnel. It should be easier to get a loan for a degree required for a career that is in very high demand.

kinda dumb to expect kids just out of highschool to have good credit and high income.

Smart decision. The ONLY decision.
Sets precedence. Forgiving loans for the past, but not forgiving them when the next batch graduates? FUBAR plan.

Answer a simple question.  Was the student FORCED to sign the loan document?

If there is a case for fraud, file a civil action.  Fraud is one of the reasons the corporate liability shield is pierced.  Stockholders and members of the BOD can be held financially liable for illegal acts.
