My guess is that you have not been on a college campus on decades, if ever. I, on the other hand have. Attended Boise State and University of nevada and have visited University of Montana, Idaho State, University of Wyoming, and Utah State.

Not scared at all. I just find your unsupported view that student loans are solely for the "lazy Black Tribe" to be lazy and the product of someone who sits behind a computer and creates their own echo chamber. 

The only rational reason to not allow student loan discounts is moral hazard.

If you cancel or reduce loans, the colleges and borrowers are both on the same side of the fence.

Oh, so you think it's "irrational" for those who couldn't afford college to now be upset that those who took out loans have them paid off?

It's "irrational" to think that the millions of people like myself who worked hard to save and pay their own way through college now get the joy of ALSO paying for the deadbeats who didn't?

It's "irrational" to think that parents like myself who worked hard to pay for our own children's college now also get to pay for those deadbeats who chose the easy way out?

 No, ideally we’d all go to Harvard, and ideally we’d all drive a Rolls Royce.

Moral hazard is created when somebody, government or parents, picks up the tab.

The idea behind student loans was, each generation finances the next.

Going forward.. the best policy would be to make Student Loans more difficult to obtain. The program of study should mean nothing.. (physics or gender studies) when it comes to getting these loans. To make it fair and equitable.. you make it a purely numbers game based on income and credit history.

I would be ok with indentured servitude. Work in a manufacturing plant to pay off the debt if you default.
