We certainly didn't attempt a coup. We constitutionally impeached the president...much like your side impeached a democratic president. The right has NEVER owned the fact that they wanted to overturn the constitutionally mandated acceptance of the Electoral College votes - THAT HAD ALL BEEN APPROVED BY THE LEGISLATURES OF ALL THOSE STATES. If there was a coup attempt, it was done by the ones who wanted to throw out the Constitution and not the ones who chose to USE the Constitution.
