You're thinking eunoch - like michael jackson.
Yep - he's not much more than a one-glover.
A VACCINATED one-glover - or, eunoch.
LOL! Because we already have a built-in bail-out for people who can't pay their debts - it's called FORECLOSURE and BANKRUPTCY.Mrkelly » 06 Jul 2023, 9:03 am » wrote: ↑ so why didn't congress bail them out instead of the banks?
your theory is weak as water
Wrong again Pops.Skans » 06 Jul 2023, 6:59 am » wrote: ↑ 2007-2008 Depression was caused by one thing: Congress passing loose lending laws that allowed banks to make loans without verifying a person's creditworthiness. This, coupled with ambitious developers, corrupt appraisers and get-rich-quick blue-collar house investors tanked the economy. In other words - all because of a Democrat program (FDR New Deal style) to get blacks out of the projects and into houses they could never afford.
Skans is stuck in an old dead paradigm that no longer appliesMrkelly » 06 Jul 2023, 7:09 am » wrote: ↑ if that were true, Obama wouldn't have bailed the banks out
then let the banks keep 5 million homes
how did that help the black folks again?
HAHAHA.Skans » 06 Jul 2023, 7:55 am » wrote: ↑ It doesn't pay to be stupid, does it.
Obama didn't "let" anything. People who had no business buying a house couldn't make their payments. The banks had liens against the houses. Why? Because the Banks (not Black people) paid for those houses. If the house-buyer doesn't pay the bank, the bank gets to take the house. It's been that way for hundreds of years.
A Democrat Congress, hell-bent on getting black people into white neighborhoods F-ed up the economy. Not Banks.
The banks knew 75% of these homes would be foreclosed onSkans » 06 Jul 2023, 8:59 am » wrote: ↑ A Democrat Congress wanted Blacks to be able to afford houses. So, they jerry-rigged programs to get them to qualify for high-LTV loans; risky loans, which banks had no business making and Blacks had no business committing to. White investors got in on the action too - and they not only lost the homes, but went bankrupt.
F-ing Dumb.Sumela » 06 Jul 2023, 9:49 am » wrote: ↑ Wrong again Pops.
The goal was to allow the banks to make **** loans so that the BANKS could then be able to repossess the homes
and turn them into rental properties. BANKS made billions...plus they were bailed out.
Dumb. Many of the banks involved in making these loans were shut down, and assets sold off to more viable banks. These loans ruined the banks, and they did not get bailed out. Look up Countrywide Financial. They were just raking in the money - had no clue to even think the gravy train would ever stop.Sumela » 06 Jul 2023, 9:55 am » wrote: ↑ The banks knew 75% of these homes would be foreclosed on

It was a scam. Just like fake news scams you everyday
and the banks knew that they would get to keep the housesSkans » 06 Jul 2023, 9:23 am » wrote: ↑ LOL! Because we already have a built-in bail-out for people who can't pay their debts - it's called FORECLOSURE and BANKRUPTCY.

LOL, the money went to the top. Who cares if a few banks closed.Skans » 06 Jul 2023, 10:11 am » wrote: ↑ Dumb. The last thing in the world any Bank wants are a bunch of houses. That is not how they make money. In fact, only a few banks are capable of liquidating houses. Most just aren't set up for this.Mrkelly » 06 Jul 2023, 10:13 am » wrote: ↑ and the banks knew that they would get to keep the houses
how did that plan to put black folks in houses go again ?
I never said it was a good plan. I never recommended this plan. It was a piss poor plan, and Democrats structured it that way.put them in, then bankrupt them?
piss poor plan if you ask me
Countrywide was not a "little bank". It was just a stupid bank. Countrywide was not capable of taking all of those houses and liquidating them. It didn't have the infrastructure or the capital to do that. Actually, no bank did without the government coming in and assisting huge banks like BofA to take this craptastic venture on.Mrkelly » 06 Jul 2023, 10:17 am » wrote: ↑ so ... big banks ate up the little banks

that was the goal right?

Some of the money went to the bank's investors while banks were making crap-loads of money on loan fees from all of these loose-**** loans.Sumela » 06 Jul 2023, 10:18 am » wrote: ↑ LOL, the money went to the top. Who cares if a few banks closed.
The scam paid off yugely. And you got cucked - as you always do Pops
There are winners. And, losers. BofA was a winner. Countrywide thought they were a winner, until they weren't. In every transaction, there's a winner and a loser. Which would you like to be?Sumela » 06 Jul 2023, 10:42 am » wrote: ↑ Oh so BOA bought CW for
FOUR BILLION.
Seems most vampires won big in this deal
and the black folk got 100% screwed....Skans » 06 Jul 2023, 10:44 am » wrote: ↑ Some of the money went to the bank's investors while banks were making crap-loads of money on loan fees from all of these loose-**** loans.
Some of the money went to huge developers/builders (and small land developers) who were selling properties at artificially inflated prices
Some of the money went to mortgage brokers who were making big money on stated-income loans
Some of the money went to appraisers who were working with faux buyers and developers to inflate values of homes so banks could lend money on them.
Some of the money went to title companies who were writing title insurance on all of these transactions.
Some of the money went to mortgage insurance, but the mortgage insurance companies ended up going bust.
Yes, some folks made good bank on the Democrat's Bank Scam. But, here's the thing - I know who made the money and how the money was made. You don't.
I dont wanna be a criminal.Skans » 06 Jul 2023, 10:46 am » wrote: ↑ There are winners. And, losers. BofA was a winner. Countrywide thought they were a winner, until they weren't. In every transaction, there's a winner and a loser. Which would you like to be?
