I cannot remember when I didn’t know, the reason we see the moon, is the light from the sun.

The sun sets, as earth turns, but we can still see the moon because it’s still in sunlight.  And because we’re in darkness at night, the stars and planets are visible until morning, when the earth revolves to where we are again in direct sunlight.

But when I was a kid, there were still quite a few people who didn’t know that and thought the sun revolved around the earth.

My father died suddenly in September 1971 and by February 1972 my mother was engaged to the handsomest man I’ll ever live to see.

Hadley said but we can see otherwise.  The sun comes up in the morning and sets in the evening.

I said Hadley, please don’t bring that up with Mama.

You know, how bad her temper is.

He already, had a taste of Mama’s temper.

I saved Hadley from that *** chewing but not the others, none of which he deserved.


After Mama left him after six months he found a woman who’d agree with any ignorant thing he said, and smile.

That would be correct, except for their demand for social rights to have society pay for it and everyone has to pretend after transition they were never the other gender since birth or get charged for a hate crime in civil or criminal court. Double jeopardy. The subliminal way humanity governs ancestral lineages in plain sight using capitalized off reasonable doubt established since dawn of civilization within this species.
