I own an AR-15, which the only reason I do, is that it cost $500 and no paperwork and what I really want is an M-16, which is $5,000 plus $200 transfer and 6 months.  I don’t want an M-16 that badly.

Let’s go back to the Trumpy tranny in Philadelphia 

He can walk in a gun shop and buy a Winchester Model 70, easy as he did his hardware.

He can buy a $1,500 Colt Python or Peacemaker, on the spot.

But to buy the GI Joe hardware, it’s pay $200 and wait.

Mr MAGA the great patriot, he can still buy his AR and Glock and all the black rain ordinance he likes.

He pays $200 and waits 

I think that would cut the **** off from hardware they have no business owning

And for years and years my gun control position was two words. Hell no.

Every time I hear Don Williams, it reminds me of when a girl, now barely remembered, demanded I marry her or she’d find a guy who would, and did just that.

I’d wrecked a car, the third one, and had to ride the Greyhound home to Mama for the Christmas holidays.  I’d lost my little red headed Portuguese girl and my car, both.  Life was not as sweet, as formerly.

I sad my girl has left me, for a little short guy, and all the other girls I know either have boyfriends or I don’t know where they are, over break.

She smiled and said I might know a girl, who would go out with you.  She named the sheriff’s daughter.

I had no objections to that matchmaking whatsoever.

We rung in the New Year in Springfield, on the square, but my mind was far away, because she wasn’t Madeline.  She seemed to have her mind somewhere else, too.

When I got home Mama made coffee and could tell the sheriff was never going to be my father in law, no matter how beautiful his daughter.

So she got out her guitar, and sang a Don Williams song.
