The answer to this that I usually read/hear is that injustice is some sort of test. That is lazy IMO. I am atheist and do not believe that there is a god. He/she/it is simply a construct for those who did not have the knowledge to explain how the world worked and so needed something to fill in the blanks. However, if you want to believe in a god then so be it.

Our existence and purpose, as much as I can tell, is not a test.  It is a type of learning process. There is a God, a Divine entity or whatever you want to call it. We are given our lives for a reason, a reason which is not necessarily disclosed to us in this realm. I am as sure of this as you are as sure of your atheist beliefs.

But, you need not worry.  I am not here to lecture or preach to you on the existence of God.  This will become known to you in due time. You and I and the rest of us are stuck here for now, and there is no bridge that I am aware of from this realm to the next in our current forms. So, try to enjoy your holographic life......and, at least gain something meaningful from it.

Ok, Cyndi, I'm going to read between the lines here.  And, knowing what happens to a person when they die, I think I've got it without having to have you go into graphic detail. 

But, was that all there was to your NDE?  The physical aspects of dying?

The old time Christian Churchers of my youth, would have the women teach the children about Adam and Eve, and Noah and the Ark, and all the decent  Old Testament stories to the children, but  although they never spoke it, I don't believe a one believed in any of that. 

If any teenager questioned enough of the story, the elders would elevate him to be an elder, to  basically shut him up.   We have a moral code, to never turn anyones idols to stone.

So in effect, you had a cult of Christians, who really didn't believe in the Old Testament biblical accounts of creation. 

But we did, and I still do believe that God made man, in His own image.

The Lord made magnetism, rays of light, gravity, and all the physical wonders of the universe.

Maybe God, is a teenage kid in another dimension, and we are His school science project.

And as wild as that sounds,  if it's not true God made the heavens and the earth, likely with a big bang,,,,,

The alternative is it just happened, by accident.

Which is longer odds, than it all was created, how we cannot fathom.

But 99% or more of that crowd believes in Jesus.

If they ever once read the Sermon on the Mount in its entirety old Trump is in trouble.

Eternity is the core of all things eternally different now. Why intellectual sciences cannot find the hot spot, and social sciences won't allow anyone to think for themselves philosophically, psychologically, any generation gap present.

Those that understand won't give up self evident secrets and they will set the wrath of of people not wanting to know against them from every reality saving humanity today.
