To put that into perspective, let's take a look at ancient Egypt up to the present day. They have been around since almost 3000 BC. Historians have repeatedly said they are a country characterized by war. I laugh at that. They have been around for almost 5000 years and have had wars that combined to 35 years. We have been around for 247 years with only 17 years of peace, which comes to 217 years of war.

Historically ****. Egypt and other cradle of civilization societies had war seasons nearly every year. It was as predictable as the fall harvest. They occasionally skipped years when there was famine or drought but most years there was wars, it's just what they did.
